DAY 1: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL

Welcome and pick up at the Siem Reap International Airport by local English Speaking Guide and Van driver.

After that, will visit the famous Angkor Wat. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, it is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing the Mount Meru, home of the gods. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the wars Suryavarman II fought during his reign. Moreover, Angkor Wat is well known for the more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. Construction is thought to have taken around thirty years of intensive labor. Today, Angkor Wat is figured on Cambodia's national flag as the temple symbolizes the soul of the Khmer People

Enjoy climbing to the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng to see an imposing temple for a truly memorable sunset with the panirama view.

Tonight you will be amazed by the Phare Cambodia Circus; a troupe of young Cambodians offering a spectacular and exciting blend of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed and performed as a story about Cambodian life and society. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP TOUR (B, L, D)

After breakfast, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. A short stop at South Gate. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8m high wall, drawing a perfect square. Enter the city through the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces. On each side of the entrance path a row of 54 gods or demons is holding the sacred Naga snake.

From here, continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is well-known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace. Lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch, visit Ta-Prom Temple ~ built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. It has been left in much the same condition in which it was found: the photogenic and atmospheric combination massive fig and silk cotton trees grow from the towers and corridors, offering some of the best ‘tree-in temple’. This makes Ta Prohm one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples. 

Proceed to the floating village by a traditional wooden boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake (The largest Freshwater Lake in Southeast Asia). At this floating village you can see floating – school, basketball field, church, houses and vendors selling their products door to door by boat. These floating village people make their living as fishermen. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 3: SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH (B, L, D)

Morning: Siem Reap – Phnompenh

Afternoon: Visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom, Toul Sleng. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 4: PHNOM PENH - CHAU DOC - LONG XUYEN - CAN THO (B, L, D)

Morning: Phnompenh – Phnom Den (Cambodia)/ Tinh Bien (Vietnam) border gate (100km). Having lunch near Tinh Bien. After lunch, continue driving to Can Tho via Chau Doc and Long Xuyen. On the way visit Ba Chua Xu Temple, Phat Thay Tay An Pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb,…Proceed to Can Tho. 

Evening: Having dinner on the boat while cruising along Hau River and enjoy southern traditional folk song which is one of the intangible cultural heritages of Vietnam recognized by UNESCO.

After dinner, free time to explore Tay Do Night Market or walk around Ninh Kieu harbor or visit Cai Khe Shopping Centre where is the most exciting place in Tay Do Town at night. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Can Tho. 

DAY 5: CAN THO - BEN TRE - MY THO - HO CHI MINH (B, L, D)

After breakfast, taking boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at its busiest at this time of the day.

Back to hotel, check out and transfer to Ben Tre - Tien Giang. Take a boat ride along Tien River, view floating village on the way to islets of Long (Dragon), Lan (Unicorn), Quy (Tortoise) & Phung (Phoenix). Proceed to Phoenix islet and then take a boat ride to Con Thoi Son (Thoi Son Islet) – enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages. 

Have lunch at a local restaurant at Thoi Son. Return to wharf for transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 6: HO CHI MINH CITY - DA LAT (B, L, D)

Transfer to Lien Khuong Airport to take the flight with Vietnam Airlines at 6.50am for the short flight to the highlands central city of Da Lat. After breakfast at hotel, relax and take Da Lat CityTour.

Around 8.30am – 9.00am. Start with a sightseeing of City Flower Garden, Valley of Love where you can take many nice photo with flowers/Mong Mo Hill. Back to city centre to check in, have lunch and relax.

Afternoon: Visit Truc Lam meditation Monastery with Vietnamese design, in Truc Lam we can take a view and visit Tuyen Lam Lake, which has immense water surrounded by lush greenery. Or you can choose trekking to Langbiang Mountain, at the peak of mountain have panoramic view over the verdant city. 

Evening: Having dinner while enjoy the performance of central highland Cong Chieng with the ethnic of Lach. Drink the traditional wine of Can.

After dinner, free time to explore Dalat City with famous destinations such as Dalat Market, Night market where there are many unique & delicious street food. Or you can rent a bicycle to ride around Xuan Huong Lake. Overnight at hotel in Dalat.

DAY 7: DA LAT - DANANG - HOI AN (B, L, D)

After breakfast transfer to Lien Khuong Airport for the short flight to the central port city of Danan. On arrival in Danang transfer to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Have a brief visit at Hoa Hai Stones Carving Village on the way to the ancient town. Dinner at locat restaurant in Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 8: HOI AN - HUE (B, L, D)

Early wake up in the morning to breathe the peaceful atmosphere of Hoi An. After having breakfast, enjoy the Ancient Town on foot, past low tile-roofed buildings, the bustling central market and the small harbour where colorfully painted boats are moored. The tour will include 5 places. Visit a private house, where members of the same family have lived continuously for centuries in a traditional setting; and to a typical assembly hall.

Continue to one of a museum in the heritage town. Visit a one of a temple and a Handicraft workshops in Hoi An where local products are being made by the industry itself. 

* Visit to Hoi An Silk Village 
Hoi An Silk village with traditional Quang Nam house and learn about the Vietnamese Ao Dai and customs from Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Have lunch in the local restaurant. Take a rest before travelling to Hue city

From Hoi An, journey north pass Lang Co, a lovely stretch of beach curving outwards between a clear blue lagoon and the East Vietnam Sea, before arriving at Danang. Continue along steep mountainous roads with spectacular views of the coastline, crossing the dramatic Hai Van Pass, the high dividing line between the climate zones of north and south Vietnam. Upon arrival, check in hotel.

Dinner. You have free time to discover the romance city. Overnight at hotel in Hue city

DAY 9: HUE - COOKING CLASS - HANOI (B, L)

Today, you will have a chance to try cooking the local Hue food. 

The menu included Hue spring roll, Plain Rice Flan, Banana flower with shrimp, Grilled Beef. Morning, come to the local market. Here, you are introduced about the gastronomy cuisine art of Hue people, and ingredient for our cooking class

Then, you are taught how to cook spring roll, Plain Rice Flan, Banana flower with shrimp, Grilled Beef, and have chance to practice by yourself. 

Enjoy the meal you cooked is a lovely experience. 

In the afternoon, embark on a local boat and cruise down the Perfume River to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, an elegant seven-tiered octagonal tower which has become Hue's most widely recognizable monument.

Have dinner on your own account. Overnight at hotel in Hue city. 

DAY 10: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

Following breakfast leave Hanoi for a 3hr 30mins drive to Halong Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way. Arrive at your jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After your welcome onboard, a lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on Halong Bay cruise.

DAY 11: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B, L, D)

Enjoy your fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 12: HANOI - DEPARTURE (B)

Option 1: If your flight departure in the morning
Breakfast at the hotel. Free for your own activities until transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for boarding to next destination. End of services. 

Option 2: If your flight departure in the late afternoon (from 16.30 onwards - L)

This morning depart your hotel for the Temple of Literature. In 1076, Vietnam's first university Quoc Tu Giam, was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite. The university functioned for an incredible 700 years and its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s past.

Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049, next. This structure is one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. Close by is the mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, and the former presidents house on stilts where he lived from 1958 to 1969. His former home illustrates the modesty of this Vietnamese revolutionary. (Viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Oct-Nov)

Continue to picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda. From here transfer (or stroll along the lakeside) 700 meters to the nearby Taoist temple of Quan Thanh dedicated to Tran Vu, one of the principal deities in Taoism. 2. CAN I POSTPONE OR CANCEL  MY TRIP? 
All purchases are final and you will need to agree with our term & conditions before confirming your order. In some cases, your booking will be cancelled or postponed for a future day.  However, if you need to cancel within 14 days we may state in our conditions that we will charge cancellation fees. 

3. IF I PURCHASE A PACKAGES, CAN I TRAVEL IN REVERSE DIRECTION?
Yes, our packages are made up on individual travel vouchers, which can be use in any order.  You may want to travel our intineraries in reverse or you may want to complete your package over a number of short trip. 

4. DO YOU OFFER LONGER OR MORE CUSTOMIZE TOUR?

5. I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS – WILL THEY BE CATERED FOR?
We will try our best to accommodate all dietary requirements but in some out-of-the-way places it can be very difficult to guarantee. We will let you know if there are places on your itinerary where this is the case. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we will pass the information onto your leader. It is also a great idea to bring a card with your dietary requirements written in local language for those time you are eating away from the group.

6. WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN MY DESTINATION?
It is a good idea to travel with a credit card and ATM card. In Vietnam, the US Dollars and Euros are more widely accepted than other currencies (off course, out of VN Dong). However, in some cases, at some hotels they can accept your local currency but not very much.

9. WHAT IS AN EXTRA COST?
An extra cost is something you will pay direct to the tour or hotel upon arrival. Or, something is mentioned in NOT INCLUDED.  Most of Amity Smile trips are “All Clusive” meaning no extra fees will need to be paid. 

10. HOW DO I KNOW  MY RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED?
After you make an online booking, we will follow up with you to confirm availability and confirm the booking.  Your reservation is not confirmed until receive this follow up email or fax. 

11. CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY  OF MY GROUP TRIP, EITHER BEFORE OR DURING THE TRIP?
Please make sure that you are happy with your group trip itinerary before booking because we are unable to change them for individual travelers. However, if you and a group of friends, colleagues,…would like your own personally designed itinerary, get in touch with our travel consultants, they can tailor an itinerary just for you.

12.IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ON TOUR, WHO WILL I CONTACT?
When on tour, your tour guide is the first person of contact. We have our own hotline,  so emergency assistance is available 24hours per day. Please see the office contact details listed on your itinerary or on your voucher. 

13. I AM NOT READY TO BOOK RIGHT NOW,  WHAT SHOULD I DO?
For flights, you can make a booking and then we can hold the booking for a limited period of time until you are ready to purchase and issue the ticket. When you make a booking, we will inform you of the amount of time until the ticket must be issued since this time frame varies by airline.
For hotels, in order to make a booking and hold a room, you must confirm and pay immediately. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a hotel booking for you without payment.
For tours, as tours are related to hotels booking. We will need you 30% for Deposit. This amount is to cover our costs if you cancel the tour. Almost is for cancellation charges of hotels/resorts.
