Hoi An Beach Vacation (5 days/4nights)

 

Upon arrival to Danang airport, you will meet our guide and drive to visit Cham Museum – one of two World Class Museum in Vietnam.  You will have a chance to discover the collection of artifacts of Cham Culture from 4th to 13th century here. Then enjoy lunch in Apsara Restaurant in Danang before transferring to the ancient town of Hoian, the peaceful but also very attractive place with charming ancient houses, narrow and long valleys still intact from hundreds years ago. The whole town still keeping the traditional atmosphere from hundred year ago. Check in your resort on Cua Dai Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Morning take a walking tour to Hoi An ancient town. Visit Thang Loi Handicraft workshop in Phan Chu Trinh Street. You will have the chance to experience all the typical traditional handicraft of Hoi An, such as wood carving, mat weaving, lantern making, silk worm raising, spinning and weaving, table cloth making and embroidery picture. These handicrafts made great contribution to upgrade living standard of local people since Hoi An turn to be popular destination for the tourists. Then take a walk to Hoi An ancient town. We will start the walk from small alley from Phan Chu Trinh Street to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. This is the typical ancient street of Hoi An, that can show you great atmosphere of the ancient town. Visit the Japanese Cover Bridge – the symbol of Hoi An. After that visit Tan Ky, the most well known and authentic ancient house in town. Then take a walk along the Nguyen Thai Hoc - the ancient street of Hoi An to the market of the town. Visit the local market and Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall, the communal place for Chinese community from Fukien province in China as well the worshiping temple to Thien Hau, the Goddess protecting people on the sea – that was so important for the Chinese Merchant and Fishman in the past. Then you have free time for discovering the town on your own or shopping.

Afternoon depart for the cyclo trip to Cam Nam Village (this is exclusive discovery feature of Vietnamtravels). The cyclo will take you from the town to Cam Nam Bridge. You will have the first stop for the photo opportunity of the activities and scenery on the Thu Bon River. Then the cyclo will take you along the Thu Bon River bank, where you can have another photo stop for panorama view of Hoi An from other side of river. You will ride along the riverside and cycle through local villages of Cam Nam. This is untouched area by tourism with very friendly and hospitable local people. You can see their daily life activities or even viewing the interior of their house and their life through always opened doors. The cyclo trip will be ended at green small canal covered by water coconut trees. Embark on the boat and take a cruise to Thu Bon River. You can experience the local daily life along river, such as fishing, farming, catching clam …. Come back to Hoi An around sunset time.

Morning you will have your own time free at leisure for relaxing and enjoy the beautiful beach of Cua Dai as well as comfortable facilities of the resort.

Afternoon take a tour to My Son, the famous holy land of Cham people with great structure of towers had been built from 4th to 13th century. This is also the place you can admire the most amazing brick sculpture in the world and learn about the influences of Hinduism to their culture at the remains of Cham tower there. In the afternoon, My Son is much more quiet and peaceful in very traditional atmosphere in the sunset. Drive back to Hoi An in late afternoon.

Today you will have the whole day to do thing together in charming town of Hoi An – the Paradise for the shoppers or relax on the beach at the resort. There will be two bicycles for your own use till check out time at the resort.

Morning is free at leisure till the departure time to Danang airport for your flight home.

2. CAN I POSTPONE OR CANCEL  MY TRIP? 
All purchases are final and you will need to agree with our term & conditions before confirming your order. In some cases, your booking will be cancelled or postponed for a future day.  However, if you need to cancel within 14 days we may state in our conditions that we will charge cancellation fees. 

3. IF I PURCHASE A PACKAGES, CAN I TRAVEL IN REVERSE DIRECTION?
Yes, our packages are made up on individual travel vouchers, which can be use in any order.  You may want to travel our intineraries in reverse or you may want to complete your package over a number of short trip.

4. DO YOU OFFER LONGER OR MORE CUSTOMIZE TOUR?

5. I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS – WILL THEY BE CATERED FOR?
We will try our best to accommodate all dietary requirements but in some out-of-the-way places it can be very difficult to guarantee. We will let you know if there are places on your itinerary where this is the case. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we will pass the information onto your leader. It is also a great idea to bring a card with your dietary requirements written in local language for those time you are eating away from the group.

6. WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN MY DESTINATION?
It is a good idea to travel with a credit card and ATM card. In Vietnam, the US Dollars and Euros are more widely accepted than other currencies (off course, out of VN Dong). However, in some cases, at some hotels they can accept your local currency but not very much.

9. WHAT IS AN EXTRA COST?
An extra cost is something you will pay direct to the tour or hotel upon arrival. Or, something is mentioned in NOT INCLUDED.  Most of Amity Smile trips are “All Clusive” meaning no extra fees will need to be paid. 

10. HOW DO I KNOW  MY RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED?
After you make an online booking, we will follow up with you to confirm availability and confirm the booking.  Your reservation is not confirmed until receive this follow up email or fax. 

11. CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ITINERARY  OF MY GROUP TRIP, EITHER BEFORE OR DURING THE TRIP?
Please make sure that you are happy with your group trip itinerary before booking because we are unable to change them for individual travelers. However, if you and a group of friends, colleagues,…would like your own personally designed itinerary, get in touch with our travel consultants, they can tailor an itinerary just for you.

12.IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ON TOUR, WHO WILL I CONTACT?
When on tour, your tour guide is the first person of contact. We have our own hotline,  so emergency assistance is available 24hours per day. Please see the office contact details listed on your itinerary or on your voucher. 

13. I AM NOT READY TO BOOK RIGHT NOW,  WHAT SHOULD I DO?
For flights, you can make a booking and then we can hold the booking for a limited period of time until you are ready to purchase and issue the ticket. When you make a booking, we will inform you of the amount of time until the ticket must be issued since this time frame varies by airline.
For hotels, in order to make a booking and hold a room, you must confirm and pay immediately. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a hotel booking for you without payment.
For tours, as tours are related to hotels booking. We will need you 30% for Deposit. This amount is to cover our costs if you cancel the tour. Almost is for cancellation charges of hotels/resorts.
