Enjoy a full-day journey through Central Vietnam’s nature and heritage. Begin at the Marble Mountains, where you climb stone steps, explore sacred caves, and visit ancient pagodas. Continue to Bay Mau Coconut Forest in Cam Thanh. Glide through water palms in a traditional basket boat and learn about local river life. In the afternoon, travel to Hoi An Ancient Town. Walk along lantern-lit streets, see historic houses and temples, and cross the Japanese Covered Bridge. Take free time for photos, shopping, and dinner before returning to your hotel.
14:00: Vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at the hotel and depart for the Marble Mountains scenic area.
❖ The Marble Mountains complex consists of five mountains: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Explore mysterious caves, Tam Thai Pagoda, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the seven-story tower.
❖ Admire exquisite stone sculpture masterpieces crafted by the talented artisans of Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village at the foot of the mountains.
15:30: Depart for Bay Mau Coconut Forest.
15:45 – 16:00: Guests travel by basket boat through coconut waterways to explore Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Here, visitors experience local fishermen’s activities such as casting nets and throwing fishing nets. Especially, guests will enjoy the skillful “water-splashing” performance on basket boats and listen to traditional Quang region folk songs.
18:00: Vehicle picks up guests to visit Hoi An. Have dinner, then explore Hoi An Ancient Town, including:
* The Japanese Covered Bridge – the only remaining architectural structure of Japanese origin.
* Walking along the Hoai River, admiring ancient houses and colorful lanterns, immersing in the romantic and peaceful beauty of the old town.
21:00 – 21:30: Return to the hotel. Farewell and see you again!
Preparation: What to Bring & Wear
Footwear: Wear comfortable sneakers or walking shoes with good grip. The steps at Marble Mountains can be steep and slippery.
Clothing: Choose lightweight, breathable clothes. Since you will visit pagodas (Tam Thai, Linh Ung), please ensure your outfit is respectful (shoulders and knees covered).
Sun & River Protection: Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for the Coconut Forest boat trip. Insect repellent is also recommended for the forest area.
Photography: Charge your phone/camera fully. The sunset at the Coconut Forest and the lanterns in Hoi An are perfect for photos.
Small Change: Bring some Vietnamese Dong (VND) for small souvenirs at the Stone Village or street snacks in Hoi An.
Rain Gear: A compact umbrella or light raincoat is handy for unexpected evening showers in the ancient town.
